This is a company that does not own up to their mistakes. A line was activated and returned after 2 days under the buyer's remorse process back to the store.

I continued to receive monthly bills for it for it for two months straight, and this is when I was out of the country for a month and a half. Upon my return, I noticed my credit ratings was down and missed payment remarks posted by Bell Canada. I immediately followed up with Customer Care repeatedly (for next 8-10 days) with no resolution as each rep kept saying you still are a customer and you have not cancelled. Finally had to drive back to the store and had to confirm with the store rep who checked and said yes the phone was cancelled under cancellation policy.

He spoke to his customer care team and told me he had accidentally processed the cancellation as "Exchange" which is why this happened. Said not to worry and he'll take care of it. A week later, I received an email from Virgin with a Final Bill of $850 for the phone, since I cancelled the contract after 2 months of joining, and so the bill was sent with the final bill including the remaining phone subsidy. I again called few times spoke to different different customer service reps who did little to help or to find out what was going on.

Finally, one rep, after putting me on hold for about 40 minutes, just came back on the line and said, everything is ok now don't worry. No explanations or update as to what happened or what he did, whatsoever. I asked what happened and with a rude tone he just said "as I told you earlier, everything is fine now", and hung up after. I logged into my Equifax account and noticed the score went down by 7 points and the remarks still there (which as per Equifax will stay there for next 2 years), as payment missed.

Reported this to BBB who started an investigation and about 15 days later, Virgin responded back saying, "we apologize for the inconvenience caused, but you don't owe anything now. Thank you". BBB closed the case saying case resolved. Still trying to fight with Virgin for the FALSE reporting to the Credit Bureau agencies and for damaging my credit score....

all for an account which was closed down as part of the cancellation policy. In my opinion, VIRGIN MOBILE IS THE MOST UNETHICALLY OPERATED BUSINESS IN NOT JUST CANADA, BUT ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.

I would pray to God, no other would fall in this same trap and go through all this that I've been through with this company. I have also reached out to the media to let them know of this so they can hopefully raise some awareness for other consumers and alert everyone not to ever go with Virgin, ever.

Reason of review: suffering for not being their customer.

Preferred solution: FIX YOUR FALSE CREDIT REPORTING ON MY FILE.
